Around 1.7 million passengers are predicted to pass through the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) in Manila during the Holy Week as people across the Philippines are preparing for Easter, which will fall on next Sunday.

The prediction – a figure higher than the expected number of passengers during last year’s Holy Week by around half a million people – was revealed by PITX Corporate Affairs head Jason Salvador recently. He pointed out that the PITX authorities are ensuring that the terminal has enough bus units to serve commuters, according to a report by Philippine Daily Inquirer.
