Irish actor Pierce Brosnan, one of the former James Bond actors, has expressed his support towards the possibility of English actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson becoming the next agent 007. Some reports have said that the 33-year-old actor has been screen-tested and was offered the role.
“Yes, I read the news about his possibilities of being a Bond,” said Brosnan. “I would definitely tip my hat to the fellow.”
The 70-year-old actor also said: “I think the man has the chops, talent and charisma to play Bond.”
Meanwhile, other rumoured candidates for the role included Idris Elba, Henry Cavill, Richard Madden, James Norton, Netflix series Bridgerton’s Regé Jean-Page, as well as recent Oscar winner Cillian Murphy, according to some recent news reports.
