A 20-member business delegation from Indonesia arrived in Hong Kong on Tuesday and met with the neighbouring SAR’s Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu and Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Algernon Yau Ying-wah on Wednesday as the group began its observation on investment opportunities in Hong Kong.
The delegation comprises members of the Employers’ Association of Indonesia, which intends to establish family offices, according to the association’s chairman, Shinta Kamdani.
Meanwhile, the group is reported to be planning on visiting Shenzhen before returning to Indonesia. It is not reported whether Macau is also included in the delegation’s itinerary. (Gilbert Humphrey)
