The Macao Polytechnic University (MPU)’s Faculty of Arts and Design has launched at the Exhibition Gallery of its Taipa campus an exhibition of around 60 works by 30 of its second-year visual arts degree students, showing the students’ learning results in the faculty’s Chinese painting course.

The exhibition combines the themes of flowers and birds with Chinese traditions, something that the Chinese painting course aims to promote.

“Through the teaching of Chinese painting, students are encouraged to integrate theory and practice, while actively showing their learning results and conveying the spirit of traditional culture,” according to MPU.
