The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has set up 60 temporary collection points across the city for the public’s disposal of large furniture items, which runs from today through 7 May, between 8 pm and 11 pm.
Fifty collection points are located in the Macau Peninsula, six in Taipa and four in Coloane, according to the bureau. People are urged to dispose of unwanted furniture items properly and securely at the specified period of time and locations to avoid affecting environmental hygiene, as well as pedestrian and traffic safety. Improper disposal of garbage is punishable by fine.
