The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) represented Macau in the first edition of “UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy Annual Conference” in Phuket, Thailand from 10-12 May, joining other member cities of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of gastronomy from around the world.
Among the things discussed during the conference were good practices in fostering development as creative cities of gastronomy. The conference led to closer cooperation among member cities and raised Macau’s international profile and impact, according to Macau’s tourism office.
