Filipino-American beauty Savannah Gankiewicz, 28, who was a contestant in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 and the first runner-up of Miss USA 2023, will be crowned the new Miss USA 2023 after the pageant’s actual winner Noelia Voigt resigned from the title earlier this month reportedly to focus on her mental health.
Gankiewicz, who is of Filipino, Polish and Vietnamese descent, will be crowned in her native Hawaii tomorrow (15 May, US time), Miss USA organisation has announced. She is the fifth woman from Hawaii to be crowned Miss USA.
