Quacquarelli Symonds, a United Kingdom-headquartered global higher education analyst and services provider, has recently released its World University Rankings 2025, which features more than 1,500 universities, including the University of Macau (UM) – jumping nine places from last year to rank 245th this year – and the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), also rising by 41 places from the 505th last year to the 464th this year, Macau’s Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) has announced.
Meanwhile, in the Times Higher Education’s World University Rankings 2024, the UM ranks 193d while the MUST places in the 251-300 band – out of 1,904 universities listed in the rankings.
