The Macao Cultural Centre (CCM) will present “Invisibles”, a family show that merges theatre and animation. The play will be staged in three shows from 7-9 April (Friday to Sunday) at CCM’s Small Auditorium. It tells the story of Mia, a little girl who is often frightened by all sorts of things. One day, looking for help to face her fears, she imagines Frida, a friend nobody else can see. As years pass by, Mia grows-up, gradually forgetting Frida. Finding it hard to confront new problems, she decides to turn herself invisible to the rest of the world. Until one day, someone else’s imaginary friend suddenly appears.
Brought by the Shanghai Children’s Art Theatre in collaboration with the Spanish company Voilá Producciones, “Invisibles” is a colourful performance depicting real life situations on a theatrical canvas. This emotional and funny story follows the very successful trail of To the Moon, another children’s play staged by the same company at CCM a couple of years back.
This multimedia performance will be presented in Mandarin with Chinese and English subtitles. Tickets will be available starting tomorrow (19 February) at CCM’s box office and Macao Ticketing Network, with various discounts available. For details please visit CCM’s website or contact 2840 0555.
