ELIGIBLE RESIDENTS OF MACAU CAN ENTER HK USING AUTOMATED IMMIGRATION CLEARANCE WITH A QR CODE ONLY STARTING TOMORROW

A mutual use of QR Code between HKSAR and Macau SAR Clearance Service will be launched tomorrow, aiming to bring further convenience to residents from both SARs. Eligible residents of Macau and Hong Kong can use an encrypted QR code through the mobile application (Macao One Account for eligible Macau residents), without the need to present ID document, to complete the automated immigration clearance.
