Macau received around 16.729 million visitors between January and June 2024, with a daily average of close to 92,000 visitors, a 43.6-per cent year-on-year increase, according to the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO).
In addition, the figure represents a return to 82.5 per cent of the pre-pandemic figure recorded in the same period back in 2019.
