India is the world’s most beautiful Asian country, while Indonesia and Japan came second and third, respectively, according to a Rough Guides survey.
The survey’s result – based on the readers’ votes – lists the top 20 most beautiful countries in the world, starting with New Zealand on the top, followed by Italy (2nd), Canada, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Norway, Australia, Greece, South Africa, United States, Chile, Iceland, Argentina, Croatia, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Portugal, Slovenia and Japan (20th).
Founded in 1982, Rough Guides is a British publisher of print and digital guidebook, phrasebooks and inspirational travel reference books, as well as a personalised trips provider, according to Wikipedia. (Gilbert Humphrey)
