University of Macau (UM) will hold its “Connecting Macao and Hengqin – UM Open Day 2025” at the UM Campus in town as well as the Zhuhai UM Science &. Technology Research Institute in Hengqin at the same time on 12 January, from 11 am to 5 pm, according to the university.
Visitors from Macau and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA) are welcome to visit and participate in a variety of activities to explore UM’s latest developments and achievements, while experiencing the local university’s diverse campus culture.
Held annually, the UM Open Day provides the opportunity for the public to gain a comprehensive understanding of the university’s academic programmes, educational model and learning environment.
UM is the first university in Macau to extend its teaching and research activities to the Guangdong-Macau In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, with this year’s UM Open Day to continue being held in both Macau and Hengqin, featuring over 200 engaging activities throughout the day, according to UM.
