EASL FINAL FOUR 2025 TO BE HELD AT STUDIO CITY IN MARCH

East Asia Super League (EASL) will host the EASL Final Four in Macau for the first time, with the EASL Final Four 2025 scheduled to take place at the Studio City, Macau in Cotai on 7-9 March.

The event will be held in the Studio City Event Centre. 

On 7 March, the top four teams will compete in the semifinals, with the winners advancing to the championship game on 9 March, while the losing teams from the semifinals will face off in the third-place match, according to Melco Resorts & Entertainment. 

The EASL Champions will claim a prize purse of US$1 million, while the runner-up will receive US$500,000. The third-place team will get US$250,000. 

Founded in 2016, EASL is an international basketball league consisting of clubs from Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong and Macau, with its first full season held in 2023. 

EASL Chief Executive Officer Henry Kerins said: “EASL is beyond excited to announce that the EASL Final Four 2025 will be held in Macau SAR, a region that has become a cornerstone of our expansion in the GBA. This milestone reflects our deep commitment to the region and to showcasing premium basketball as a driver of economic growth, cultural vitality and community engagement.” 

Melco Resorts & Entertainment Senior Vice President and Studio City Property General Manager Kevin Benning said: “We are thrilled to be collaborating with EASL to bring such top-tier Asian basketball matchups once more to Studio City Event Centre. We look forward to continuing our support for EASL in elevating Asian basketball in the Greater Bay Area.”

Meanwhile, EASL has highlighted Spalding and Jeju Samdasoo as two of its main sponsors for the season, with the first continuing to provide official basketballs for all 34 games this season while the latter serving as the league’s official water partner throughout the 2024-25 season in all participating markets except Okinawa, Japan and Macau.
