American electronic DJ and production duo The Chainsmokers will have a Macau concert at The Venetian Arena on 28 June.
Formed in 2012, the duo – consisting of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart – had a breakthrough with their 2014 song “#Selfie”. They were the highest-paid DJs in 2019, dethroning Calvin Harris after six years, according to Forbes’ 2019 list of highest-paid celebrities. The EDM-pop duo has won a Grammy Award, two American Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards and nine iHeartRadio Music Awards.
The duo is scheduled to perform in Macau right after their gig in Singapore on 27 June.
Tickets for their local gig will be on sale from 30 April, with pre-sale for Live Nation members on 29 April. However, ticket prices for “The Chainsmokers in Macao” concert have not been released. For more information visit Live Nation Hong Kong’s website. (Wong Kin Ang)
