The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) has recently acknowledged Macau’s MICE facilities and potential as the association’s head designated Macau as a “key training centre” in the industry, according to a press release issued by the SAR’s Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM).
This acknowledgment came from UFI President Hugh Jones during his visit to Macau on Monday to engage in a meeting with two local UFI board members – IPIM President Vincent U as well as Macau Fair and Trade Association Council Chairperson Synthia Chan.
In the meeting, UFI President Hugh Jones praised Macao’s MICE facilities and industry progress, highlighting it as an ideal destination for hosting exhibitions and conferences due to its significant growth potential.
UFI was established in 1925. It currently has 840 member organisations in 87 countries and regions across the world. – GNM
