A group of 42 British students went on a ski trip to the United States recently and they were stranded after the hotel they were staying in mistakenly shredded 41 of their passports. It was not known why such a mistake could happen or why their passports were in the care of Kancamagus Lodge. The Year 8-10 students at Barr Beacon School in Walsall, aged 13-15, were due to return to the United Kingdom on Saturday but had to stay in the United States for four more days for their emergency travel documents to be processed. Reportedly, the students have made use of their extra days touring around New York, as the school tweeted the students’ photos on an open-air tour bus.
