Caritas Macau WelAnser Centre will hold a seminar on Macau Law for the city’s foreign workers at the Labour Affairs Bureau’s (DSAL) headquarters on 12 October.

Targeted at Macau’s non-Chinese non-resident workers, the bilingual (Cantonese and English) “Macau Law Seminar – Know Your Rights And Responsibilities As Foreign Workers” will take place from 2-5 pm.

The DSAL’s headquarters is located at Edificio Advance Plaza on Avenida do Dr. Francisco Vieira Machado.

Registration is free and can be done at the WelAnser Centre by bringing a “member card” and blue card or passport or Macau ID, according to the seminar’s online flyer posted on WelAnser Centre’s Facebook page. Contact the centre to enquire about membership.

The upcoming seminar will have representatives from DSAL, Public Security Police Force and the Environmental Protection Bureau. For more information about the seminar visit the centre’s Facebook page.

According to its Facebook page, WelAnser Centre assists non-Chinese people in “adapting to living in Macau, solving their living problems and expanding their access to community information so they can quickly grasp community information” in the SAR. (Gilbert Humphrey)
