Macao Polytechnic University (MPU) student Mok Man Sam has recently received the Best Student of Portuguese Award from the Casa de Portugal em Macau – which means The Home of Portugal in Macau – during an award ceremony held at the Glass House at Tap Seac Square. Mok is a student from the bachelor’s degree programme in Chinese-Portuguese/Portuguese-Chinese Translation and Interpretation at the university’s Faculty of Languages and Translation.
Established 15 years ago, the award aims to promote the development of Portuguese language and culture in Macau while commending individuals who have achieved outstanding results in Portuguese learning and cultural exchange, as well as emphasising the importance of Macau’s unique cultural values and characteristics.
