Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai said on Friday that Macau’s new-term government would strive to improve the governance of the SAR and facilitate the city’s development, doing its utmost to live up to the expectations of President Xi Jinping, the Central Government, as well as the people in Macau.

The Macau SAR’s new government chief (pictured) made the remarks at the Macau International Airport right after Xi concluded a three-day visit to Macau and left the city on a special plane. 

Earlier on the day, the nation’s president attended the sixth-term Macau SAR Government’s inauguration ceremony.
