The “China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries Film Festival), which is integrated in the “7th Encounter in Macao – Arts and Cultural Festival between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries”, kicked off on Friday and will run through 5 December.
Organised by Macau’s Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), with Galaxy Entertainment Group as the opening ceremony partner, the festival features nearly 30 films from China, the Portuguese-speaking countries, Japan and South Korea, as well as outreach activities like community screenings, post-screening talks and workshops.
