A Hong Kong photo contest hosted by Asia Travel Exchange Center and co-hosted by Tourism Council of Hong Kong in celebration of this year’s Lunar New Year is open not only for Hong Kong but also Macau residents – both non-permanent and permanent – with prizes of over HK$100,000.
The topic of the “2024 Happy Spring Festsival Longbang Hong Kong and Macau” photo competition is photos of Chinese New Year celebration taken around the world, including colourful folk celebration activities. In addition, photos containing elements of the traditional Chinese zodiac of dragon will have a chance to compete for the special “Year of the Dragon” award.
Open category contestants must be aged 18 or above, while Student category participants must be full-time primary and secondary students. Submission period runs through midnight on 10 March, with the results scheduled to be announced on 15 April. The award ceremony will take place during the Hong Kong International Travel Expo in June 2024.
