Hong Kong-born and -based Macanese singer Joe Junior will perform in two concerts in the neighbouring SAR in March and April. Born Jose Maria Rodrigues Jr. to a mixed Portuguese and Chinese family with roots from Macau, Joe Junior is a Hong Kong English pop singer popular during the 1960s, who also has a fanbase in Macau, particularly among the city’s older generation.
His first “Pop Legend Joe Junior Concert 2024” is scheduled to be held at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall on 25 March (tickets are priced at MOP 200-680), while the concert’s second leg will take place at Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall on 16 April (MOP 280-580).
