Indonesian President Joko Widodo has recently expressed his hope for the Philippines to purchase anti-submarine warfare aircrafts for the Philippine Navy from Indonesia. Widodo made the remark as he met Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the Philippine presidential palace in Manila. The Indonesian president visited the Malacañang Palace on Wednesday, during his three-day visit to the Philippines. The Malacañang Palace has yet to release Marcos Jr.’s response to Widodo’s proposal, according to several media reports. (Wong Kin Ang)
