LOCAL STUDENTS JOIN ‘MEET-THE-PLAYERS’ EVENT AS SJM MACAO OPEN 2023 KICKS OFF

The SJM Macao Open 2023 kicked off at the Macau Golf and Country Club in Coloane on Thursday and a meet-the-players event was held on the same day for 20 students from various local secondary schools and universities, including the University of Macau (UM), Pui Ching Middle School, Sacred Heart Canossian College (English Section) and Kao Yip Middle School.

The meet-the-players event invited the 2023 Asian Games golf champion Kho Taichi of Hong Kong and Australian multi-championship-winning golfer Scott Robert Hend to demonstrate their golfing skills, as well as share stories about their training as professional athletes and journeys of success. The students also got a chance to receive autographs by the two famous golfers and take photos with them. The SJM Macao Open 2023 will conclude today.
