The Macao Chinese Orchestra (OHCM) will have a Mid-Autumn Festival Concert, entitled “A Full Moon Night at the Ruins of St. Paul’s 2024”, at the Ruins of St. Paul’s at 8 pm and 9 pm on 17 September, featuring local Macanese singer Germano Bibi Guilherme – also known as German Ku.

Under the baton of OHCM Director and Principal Conductor Zhang Lie, the performance will present a number of well-known musical pieces, including the newly arranged work “New Beautiful Clouds Chasing the Moon”, allowing the public to immerse in the music’s poetry under the moonlight.

Other songs to be performed in the special show include “Totoro Under the Moon”, “Wish You Well”, “Love in a Life Time” and other familiar classic music and songs from movies, celebrating the family reunion during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Guilherme, who earlier this year won the 1st prize in Hong Kong TV singing competition “Midlife, Sing & Shine! 2”, will be performing with the OCHM for the first time. Admission to the Mid-Autumn Festival Concert is free. For more information visit the Cultural Affairs Bureau’s (IC) website
