Macau is getting ready to welcome hundreds of Chinese and international content creators who are expected to join next month’s “CreatorWeek Macao 2025”, which will take place across Macau’s integrated resorts from 24-28 October, featuring conference, workshops and fan meet-and-greets, among others.
CreatorWeek is a new festival-cum-summit that connects international content creators with fans as well as executives from different platforms and brands from across the world. Last year’s event was held in Singapore.
This year, CreatorWeek Macao 2025 is set to be an “immersive experience blending business, fan engagement, entertainment, and brand activations”, according to CreatorWeek’s website.
“Discover the future of the creator economy and connect with global leaders in one of the world’s most exciting cultural hubs,” the website points out.
Next month’s event is divided into two main parts: Creator Festival and CreatorWeek Conference.
The Creator Festival will be held on 25 and 26 October, targeted at the fans, with activities like creator and artist showcases, fan meet-and-greets and “wellness activations”, while the conference will have a business audience, which will run from 27-28 October and will include a Creator Academy.
Designed in partnership with top industry leaders from China and beyond, the CreatorWeek Conference dives into the latest trends, best practices and expert insights from leading content creators, KOLs and businesses across regions, while the academy will offer practical tips on engaging with the booming Chinese creator economy as well as networking opportunities, according to the event’s website.
Furthermore, CreatorWeek Macao 2025 provides unparalleled access to the booming Greater China market and beyond, as well as the chance to connect with global leaders and discover the future of the creator economy, the website underlines.
Jointly organised by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and Branded, in collaboration with Macau’s six integrated resort companies and Guru Online member AdBeyond Group (Macau) Limited, CreatorWeek Macao 2025 is supported by YouTube, Macau Live Streaming Association, Macau Youth Media Association, Macau Internet Communication Association, as well as Macau Live Streamer and Influencer Association, among others.
The event is free to attend but by invitation only. Registration can be done via its website but does not guarantee entry as spaces are limited. Selected attendees will receive an official confirmation of attendance. For more information visit CreatorWeek’s website. – GNM
