Eligible Macau SAR Passport holders can now use the automated immigration clearance system at Malaysian airports to enter and exit the Southeast Asian country starting Thursday, Macau’s Identification Bureau (ID) announced that day.
The announcement came after the bureau received a notification from the Consulate General of Malaysia in Hong Kong on Thursday.
Meanwhile, all travellers, including Macau SAR Passport holders, are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within three days prior to their entry into Malaysia.
Currently, Macau SAR Passport holders can use the automated immigration clearance system in seven countries: Australia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom. – GNM
