The Macau Special Olympics is hosting a “Show Unified” event at Nova Mall in Taipa today and tomorrow to support the group’s athletes who will be participating in the Special Olympics World Winter Games in March 2025.
“This event is about more than just sports. It’s also about the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. It’s a chance for everyone in Macau to have fun and learn more about including people with all kinds of [disabilities] in our community,” according to a post on Nova Mall’s Facebook page.
The event features snowshoeing experience, performances, charity sale, snowflake collecting, lucky draw and a Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities promotion area.
