The Macau Government will soon build a 94,000-square-metre, 50,000-capacity outdoor performance venue near the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau and Lisboeta Macau in Cotai, which is expected to attract international shows to Macau when it opens sometimes next year, according to the SAR’s Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC).
The facility is expected to be open by February 2025, with a trial event scheduled to take place at the end of this year to test crowd control, security and traffic arrangements, among others, according to several local media reports.
