Macau registered a total of 3,441,396 visitor arrivals last month, showing a year-on-year increase of 11.3 per cent, according to the SAR’s Statistics and Census Service (DSEC).
Out of the figure, visitors from mainland China increased by 13.1 per cent year-on-year to 2,405,286, while visitors from the neighbouring Hong Kong SAR (680,521) and Taiwan region (101,453) rose by 3.1 and 32.2 per cent year-on-year, respectively.
