MACAU’S COVID PEAK MAY HAVE PASSED

Local health authorities have indicate that Macau’s current Covid-19 outbreak is believed to have passed its peak, seemingly confirming Health Bureau Director Alvis Lo’s prediction on 21 December that the outbreak’s peak would take place within one or two weeks. 

Meanwhile, over 115,000 people in Macau have tested positive for Covid-19. However, starting from 14 December, the city’s health authorities started to publish only the number of symptomatic cases, Macao News reported.
