The mosaic panel from the now-defunct Hotel Estoril’s building in Tap Seac will be installed at the new Macau Central Library, which will be built on the same site of the former hotel, according to the city’s Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC). The mosaic panel, which has been degrading from years of erosion caused by wind and rain, will be displayed at the upcoming library’s atrium for permanent display after the mosaic’s restoration and relocation project is completed, according to a report by TDM.
