Macao Polytechnic University (MPU), Sands China Ltd. and the MPU Alumni Association have recently co-organised an achievement exhibition for the Art Talent Development Showcase at the university’s Lam Kan Exhibition Gallery, displaying the students’ creative achievements, with the aim of supporting Macau’s youth policies and facilitate the SAR’s “1+4” adequate economic diversification development.
The event was attended by MPU Rector Im Sio Kei, Sands China Executive Vice Chairman Wilfred Wong, as well as MPU Alumni Association Board of Directors Chairman Wong U Kei, who said the Art Talent Development Showcase has effectively helped students to put into practice the theoretical knowledge and professional skills they have acquired in classes through an unconventional learning platform provided by a local enterprise, thus elevating the students’ overall capabilities, expanding their horizons and enriching their learning experiences.
In addition, all these have provided young people with good learning opportunities which can facilitate their growth and nurture them to be a rising force in Macau’s art and cultural sector, added the MPU alumni head.
