The University of Macau’s (UM) Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) recently held its 6th UM Language and Culture Day, themed “Cherish Mother Tongues, Embrace All Cultures”, attracting more than 200 UM members. 

The Language and Culture Day aims to promote the preservation of various mother tongues and develop students’ critical thinking by presenting different cultures, while also bridging the gap of intercultural communication, with students and faculty members from different countries and regions showcasing the university’s cultural diversity through a series of performances and workshops, according to UM. – GNM
