The Philippines women’s football team – coached by former Australian footballer Alen Stajcic – will make the country’s FIFA World Cup debut in the New Zealand city of Dunedin on 21 July, when they will play Switzerland at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be held in Australia and New Zealand from 20 July to 20 August. The Southeast Asian country has never played at any FIFA World Cup, according to several media reports.
