The Rui Cunha Foundation (FRC) currently presents a figure painting exhibition by Zheng Xiaojun, entitled “She . Realm”, at the FRC Gallery in the city centre.
Zheng is a renowned artist who is a PhD Associate Professor at the School of Journalism and Communication of Jinan University and Director of the Artificial Intelligence and New Media Art Research Center of Jinan University in the Southeastern China province of Shandong.
Co-organised by FRC and the Macau Youth Art Association, the exhibition features 35 paintings of women and children in the artist’s particular style where she uses her sensibility and linear thinking to explore the essence and meaning of life, according to the exhibition’s information leaflet.
Zheng is a member of the Macau Artist Society and her works have been selected for display in more than 30 exhibitions and competitions, including the Beijing International Biennale, National Chinese Painting Exhibition, World Expo Art Exhibition and the Italian Art Design Exhibition.
