TAP SIAC CRAFT MARKET IN SPRING KICKS OFF

Tap Siac Craft Market in Spring kicked off at Tap Seac Square on Thursday and the event will run through tomorrow, as well as from 1-4 May, showcasing and selling cultural and creative products from Macau and Asian regions, and featuring various music performances by Macau, mainland Chinese and Hong Kong singers. 

In the current Tap Siac Craft Market, there are more than 200 handicraft and creative gastronomy stalls by different cultural and creative entities from Macau, mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailan, South Korea and Japan, with products that include daily necessities, clothing and accessories, handicrafts, as well as natural and handmade products. 

In addition, over 60 creative handicraft workshops are held throughout the two consecutive weeks.

Organised by the city’s Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), Tap Siac Craft Market aims to provide a platform for cultural and creative practitioners to display and sell their products and to communicate with each other, support and encourage creativity and innovation, promote Macau’s cultural and creative products to the market, as well as establish a signature cultural and creative exhibition of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

The market is held from 5-10 pm on Thursdays and Fridays and from 3-10 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. For more information visit Tap Seac Craft Market’s official website. – GNM
