As the revamped Red Market is set to reopen on Thursday, the temporary Red Market located in Rua Marginal do Lam Mau will cease operation after tomorrow, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has announced

In addition, the free shuttle bus services between Horta e Costa district and the temporary Red Market will end tomorrow evening, with the last shuttle bus to depart Rua Marginal do Lam Mau at 6:30 pm.

Refurbishment work on Macau’s iconic and oldest wet market began about two years ago. From tomorrow evening through Wednesday, about 120 stall vendors will be relocated back to the Red Market. (Wong Kin Ang)
