Starting 1 June, Thailand will start charging an entry fee of THB 300 or around MOP 70 for every foreign tourist arriving in the country via airport, while all international land and water arrivals will be charged THB 150 (about MOP 35). However, day-trip visitors without overnight stay will not have to pay Thailand’s new tourist entry fee, according to some media reports.
