The “ITTF Men’s and Women’s World Cup Macao 2025” will be held at Galaxy Macau’s Galaxy Arena in Cotai from 14-20 April, and tickets for the event went on sale on Thursday.
Presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and sanctioned by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), the event is jointly organised by Sports Bureau (ID), GEG and World Table Tennis Management Group Limited (WTMG), and co-organised by the Macau Table Tennis General Association.
A press conference to introduce the details and ticketing information was held by the organisers on Tuesday, attended by ID President Luis Gomes, GEG Corporate Affairs Director Buddy Lam, Macau Table Tennis General Association Chairman João Ma Chi Tat, among others.
Gomes said in the press conference that the event reflected ITTF’s affirmation of Macau’s ability in running sports competitions as well as their high recognition of the SAR’s important role in the international sports arena.
The ITTF Men’s and Women’s World Cup Macao 2025 will feature 48 male and 48 female world-class table tennis players, including Sun Yingsha, who is going to defend her title in the ITTF Women’s World Cup this year, Wang Chuqin, Liang Jingkun, Lin Shidong, Lin Gaoyuan, Wang Manyu, Kuai Man, Chen Xingtong, Wang Yidi, Huang Youzheng, as well as Germany’s Annett Kaufman, among others.
Tickets are priced at MOP 85-1,500 and can be purchased via Damai application and mini program, Galaxy Ticketing, MPay’s mCoin platform, MacauTicket.com, Kong Seng outlets across Macau, or directly at the competition venue during the event period.
