Two coppers, a staff sergeant and corporal, in Cebu City were recently sacked from their posts after both of them were caught sleeping while on duty. Both officers, who were reportedly found sleeping in a patrol car, will be temporarily assigned to the Cebu City Holding Admin Unit, according to the Cebu City Police Office, while both are also facing a pre-charge investigation conducted by the City Investigation and Detective Management Unit for a possible administrative case, as reported by the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
