The Centre of Macau Studies (CMS) of the University of Macau (UM) and Well Link Bank signed a memorandum of understanding during (MOU) a press conference about the “2023 Essay Competition for High School Students at UM” on 2 August. The MOU aimed to help “realise the complementarity of resources and mutual support between industry and academia” while the essay competition marks an important milestone in the cooperation between the two parties, according to the university, which was represented by CMS Director Agnes Lam Iok Fong, while Well Link Bank Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Chong Sio Fai signed the MOU on behalf of the bank.
