The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) will hold its “USJ International Cultural Carnival 2024” at its Ilha Verde campus from 12:30 pm to 5 pm tomorrow, with over 30 diverse cultural booths organised by the university’s staff, students and alumni members from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
Each booth will represent one country, offering a “unique opportunity to experience the richness of global cultures, while indulging in culinary delights from around the world”, according to the university.
The carnival will also include cultural art performances, handicrafts mini market as well as “Coffee Space & Tie-Dye Workshops”.
The event will be open to the public for free. For more information visit USJ’s website or Facebook page. (Gilbert Humphrey)
