Ten Macau enterprises will participate in the 35th HKTDC Food Expo, which will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 14-18 August, according to Macau’s Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM).
The food expo is organised by the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council (HKTDC). IPIM has collaborated with the Industrial Association of Macau to organise the local enterprises’ participation in the expo – for the very first time. The 10 small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will participate in a special pavilion called “Macao Pavillion”, showcasing nearly a hundred products under the themes of “Macau’s Big Health”, “Made-in-Macau” and “Macau Brand”.
Covering an area of 32,000 square metres and focusing on showcasing unique culinary delights and related products, the food expo is expected to attract around 500,000 professional buyers and visitors, as well as over 900 exhibitors from mainland China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand, among others. – GNM
