Casino operator SJM Resorts recently organised vocational training workshops for youths at the GLP Art Workshops at Grand Lisboa Palace in Cotai. The workshops have been designed to involve members serviced by the Sheng Kung Hui Astor Shore, Sheng Kung Hui North District Youth Service Team, Sheng Kung Hui Student Counselling Services, as well as Sheng Kung Hui “We-Connect” Hidden and Internet Addiction Youth Service Project, with the aim to “encourage young adults to effectively utilise their summer break to nurture interests in art”, according to an SJM press release. Held on 10, 22 and 24 August, the workshops were about crafting crystal aroma candles, preserved fresh flower gift boxes and wreaths.
