Indonesia’s central bank, Bank Indonesia, and its Thai and Malaysian counterparts have recently signed a memorandum of understanding, agreeing as they move forward to use more of the three countries’ local currencies for bilateral trades between one another as they begin to leave US dollars, according to various media reports.
