University of Cambridge architecture professor Charles Alan Short, who is also the president of the UK university’s Clare Hall, led a delegation to visit the University of Macau (UM) on Thursday. The Cambridge delegation had discussions and exchanged views on the Visiting Fellowship Programme with the UM. In addition, Short gave a talk titled “Low-Carbon Buildings in Continental Climates” at the local university’s campus. Meanwhile, UM Global Affairs Office Director Wang Ruibing also introduced the UM’s campus design to the delegation. Short “spoke highly of the campus architecture and design”, according to UM.
