The “Light Up Macao 2023 – Dazzling Wonderland” is set to run from 2 December through 25 February 2024. Organised by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) in collaboration with the city’s six integrated resort operators, this year’s Light Up Macao will present a variety of romantic and colourful light installations, interactive installations and mapping shows across the Macau Peninsula, Taipa and Coloane. MGTO Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes said in the Light Up Macao 2023’s press conference yesterday the citywide light show will create an immersive experience of light artistry in various districts to invigorate community tourism and nighttime economic development.
There will be 36 light installations, 20 interactive installations and three mapping shows held in 34 locations across seven districts around the Macau SAR, comprising Central, Praia do Manduco, Nam Van, Nova de Aterros do Porto Exterior (NAPE) zone, Northern District, Taipa and Coloane, according to the MGTO.
