CULTURE BUREAU TO PRESENT ‘HUNGRY CATERPILLAR’ PUPPET THEATRE IN FEBRUARY

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) will present “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”, a puppet theatre based on arguably the most popular children’s book of all time, at the Macau Cultural Centre’s (CCM) Small Auditorium on 3 and 4 February, totalling five shows. Drawing inspirations from well-known stories created by Eric Carle, The Very Hungry Caterpillar brings children and families to a parade of 70 plus puppets depicting characters imagined by the American illustrator throughout a career that lasted over half a century. This theatre show, created by Australian-American producer Jonathan Rockefeller, brings all these characters to the stage especially for children aged two or above.
